The LiuGong range of forklifts and material handling equipment is perfectly positioned to enable those businesses that historically rented machines to take save costs and buy their own.
“These machines are significantly more cost effective than some of the better-known brands but you will not be sacrificing quality,” says CES Forklift Cape Town managing director, Willem Grobler. “LiuGong is among the world’s top 20 manufacturers of construction equipment and with more than 2,000 machines in service here they are fast gaining a reputation for reliability and value for money in the South African market place.”
Visitors to the Industrial Showcase-Cape can stand a chance to win a LiuGong manual pallet jack worth R3500 simply by dropping a business card at the CES Forklift stand during the show.
“It’s common for businesses to rent forklifts on an ad-hoc basis. We’re saying that our rent-to-own solution is far more cost effective: you get a brand new machine tailored for your needs and it is onsite 24/7 to deal with every load that needs to be shifted. Our class leader – the three tonne CPCD30A model – comes in at a base rental of around R4 600 per month. An optional full or pay-as-you-go service plan can also be taken out bringing maintenance costs down to about R9/hour – virtually unheard of in this industry. Also, with 250-hour service intervals, you can be sure of getting the maximum operational output from your LiuGong forklift. And, at the end of the period, you own the forklift – reducing the perceived monthly rental even more.”
LiuGong have established their own African office in South Africa and demand that CES Forklift keep fast moving parts in stock at all their branches. All other parts can be supplied within a day from the mother operation in Kempton Park. CES Forklift operates branches in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth,East London, George, Durban and Johannesburg.
Grobler maintains another advantage of the LiuGong range is the ability to customise machines to suit specific operational needs. CES Forklift has a number of machines in special-application service in and around Cape Town and those customers have been impressed with the machines’ performance. One such satisfied client is Ismail Moosa of Chill Speed Trucking. He has been using the seven-tonne container-compatible forklift for over a year and his feedback says it all: ‘I am not 100% satisfied, I am 200% satisfied.’
LiuGong’s range of material handling equipment starts out with manual and electric pallet handlers from 1 to 3 tonnes and extends through to large 200kw diesel-powered 16 tonne machines capable of the most demanding service conditions.
“Value for money, proven operational performance and efficient after-sales service is making the LiuGong range of equipment a serious competitor in the South African market. If you are in the market for a forklift you’ll be doing yourself a disservice if you don’t include us in your investigations,” concludes Grobler.
