CITY TO HOST THIRD PROPERTY DEVELOPERS’ FORUM

The third Property Developers’ Forum, a co-operative endeavour between the City of Cape Town and the local property industry, will be held from 14:00 - 17:00 on Tuesday, 6 November, 2007 in the Council Chamber, Sixth Floor, Podium Block, Civic Centre.
Feedback will be provided about the progress made and means will be sought to further improve this liaison.
All media are invited to attend.
The program will include presentations on the City’s Transport Strategy, Spatial Development Framework and District Plans.
The Cape Town Property Developers’ Forum seeks to support local property development in a sustainable manner and is a joint venture between the City and ABSA.
The first workshop was held in June 2007, with the second in August. Since then a series of task team sessions have been held where the politicians, City staff, property developers and other professionals have jointly worked towards determining practical solutions to mutual problems and concerns.
