The Long House in Bergvliet Tokai was home to The Coaching Centre’s corporate business breakfast on Wednesday 16 April 2008 attended by members from business, entrepreneurs, executives and those in the education sector.
The Coaching Centre had delegates captivated and intrigued as the guest speaker, CEO of KWV Thys Loubser, presented Coaching, Miracles and Winemaking at KWV and it’s many positive outcomes within the organisation.
Taking the audience through his vocational background, its clear that Thys is a born leader, forward thinker and an advocate for transformation.
Making reference to the RACI model (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed), Thys's passion for expansive leadership is evident. Thys’s history with The Coaching Centre spans two years. “Coaching is part of who I am” says Thys. Dr Paddy Paisely, co founder and co Director of The Coaching Centre, has been fundamental in Thys’s personal transformation. Having coached many executives locally and abroad, Dr Paisley is one of the first five individuals in the world to have received her doctorate in Coaching. Thys went on to list the outcomes of coaching within KWV over the past seven months. They include; Individuals are starting to take responsibility, more commercial outlook apparent, less disconnect between collective exterior and interior and less “victimhood”.
KWV is certainly destined for great things with Thys’s personal motto being “I want to raise my game – all the time”.
