PayGate payment gateway for credit card processing gone live with another payment facility. PayGate has launched PayWeb with FNB Cell Pay Point. FNB Cell Pay Point is a new payment method offered by First National Bank to its cell phone banking clients.
PayGate has integrated this new payment method into their PayWeb product which automatically makes it available to the merchant's customer on the PayGate PayWeb payment page on checkout.
The FNB Cell Phone banking customer is prompted to complete the transaction using their cell phone and the checkout total will automatically be debited to the customer's choice of FNB banking facilities. The merchant gets confirmation of payment from PayWeb and PayGate settles the merchant's FNB Cell Pay Point totals weekly to the current account of the merchant's choice.
All payments received through FNB Cell Pay Point are as if they were a normal bank transfer or EFT. Once a transaction has been successfully processed via FNB Cell Pay Point – it cannot be charged back, and it cannot be refunded.
