EDITOR'S LETTER
Welcome to March 2012
Despite being a leap year, February seemed to just fly. Thank you to all our residents who submitted feedback and brought our attention to issues in the area; we are working hard to have them resolved as soon as possible.
This month kicked off with the annual Pride Parade on Saturday 3 March, one of the most celebrated events on the gay social calendar. It certainly was a festive and mulit-coloured event, enjoyed by everyone out in Cape Town.
In our newsletter this month we have write ups on a couple of new shops and restaurants in both our CIDs, including KARTELL in the Cape Quarter, Mitico restaurant opposite the Lifestyle Centre and the Take Care and Adriaan Kuiters boutique further up Kloof Street. For more information on some of our old favourites you can read about Euro Casa and their unique Italian kitchens and furniture, or find out about Café Paradiso's famous 'Christmas forever' specials in the review section.
There is a great line up of events and activities in Cape Town this March, so take a minute to read through them and pencil in the ones that appeal most. Don't miss the rest of the Cape Town Pride festival which is on this week; the next concert at De Waal Park on 18 March and the Cape Town Carnival on 24 March.
Good luck to everyone riding the Argus next weekend! Visit our events section to find out about road closures on the day.
Best wishes,
Marc Truss
GP/OKCID CEO
