Welcome to May 2012
With another batch of public holidays behind us we decided that a list of local restaurant specials would be the perfect pick-me-up tonic for anyone with post-holiday or pre-winter blues. We've also included reviews of Miss K in Green Point and Jackal and Hide in Oranje-Kloof which are both well worth a visit.
On a more serious note, there has been an increase in the number of smash-and-grab type incidences in and around our CID areas. Please be aware of your surroundings at all times and plan your trips, also read through the tips in the crime and grime section on how to reduce the likelihood of becoming a victim of crime. Look out for our weekly safety tips on both Facebook (GP/OK) and Twitter (GP/OK) too, along with details of upcoming events and featured businesses.
