One of the reasons we lack incipient entrepreneurs is not that people do not wish to create their own means of employment, but that they are simply unaware of the possibilities open to them.

Matchmakers was formed in 2001 to assist SMME’s in overcoming obstacles in starting and growing their businesses. We assist with strategy development, business information and networking.

The City of Cape Town has financed our work since 2001 and our three main service delivery areas are:

1. Free one-on-one business consultations

2. Meetings for groups of businesspersons

3. Development and management of new SMME infrastructure programmes
