PayProtector - Risk Analysis Services

PayGate has developed PayProtector, our proprietary risk analysis service which can be used with our PayBill, PayWeb and PayXML credit card processing services. We offer 3 versions of this service to best suit different types of businesses. PayProtector – Online is a real-time analysis service that uses proprietary neural analysis to screen incoming transactions in real time before they are processed to the merchant’s internet merchant account. If the incoming transaction is detected as being fraudulent the transaction is blocked before it is sent to the bank, thereby reducing the risk of it being successfully authorised. This service has proven to be very effective for our clients in many industries including the airline industry.
We also offer PayProtector – Reporting. This service generates a report of the previous day’s successful transactions indicating their risk scores. This will allow the merchant to check the High Risk transactions and take appropriate action before orders are sent. Another option we offer is PayProtector – Managed. This is a comprehensive consulting service offered to large merchants needing a company-wide fraud prevention strategy. PayGate will assist the PayProtector – Managed merchant to develop business processes and measures to successfully identify any fraudulent activity and take the appropriate action.
