PayBill - The easiest way to accept online credit card payments
Many businesses want to accept online credit card payments into their merchant accounts however the cost of developing a website and integrating a credit card payment processing system proves to be too much for some. To allow as many merchants to accept online credit card payments as possible, we have developed the PayBill service. This service requires no integration or development and offers a reliable, user friendly and secure way to accept credit card payments.
Using our PayBill service, a merchant can generate a bill for a customer after an order has been placed or a booking made using the interface in the PayGate Back Office admin website. This bill is then emailed to the customer by PayGate’s system. In this email, the customer will find a link to a secure payment page which is hosted and encrypted by PayGate (similar to the PayWeb payments page). The look of this payment page can be customized to include the merchant’s corporate logo. On this payment page the customer will enter their credit card details and the payment will be processed via the PayGate payment gateway to the merchant’s internet merchant account in real time. When the transaction is successfully processed the customer will receive an email confirming the payment and the merchant will also receive an email alert if requested. The merchant can also check if a bill has been paid using the PayGate Back Office admin site. PayBill also offers additional security measures, as it is compatible with the PayProtector risk analysis service as well as being configured to facilitate 3D Secure (MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by VISA).
