World News: Mastercard pilots unchanged account numbers for new cards
MasterCard has launched MasterCard Product Graduation, a service that enables cardholders to transfer their card account numbers from one card issued by their bank or credit card company to another card issued by the same provider. Because their credit card account number remains unchanged, the service frees cardholders from the chore of having to alert regular billers or e-commerce Websites when they get a new debit or credit card.
