Using TA tools, the organisation’s current state is diagnosed. Recommendations are then made to enable the transition to a desired future state. The theories and principles of TA are used to provide a structured approach to change in individuals, teams and organisations

Transactional analysis is used to develop personal power in leadership. Leaders analyse their life positions, limiting beliefs and communication styles towards greater effectiveness in leadership.
Diversity Awareness – Cultural Interface
In Transactional Analysis we focus on the constructive potential of human nature, rather than the destructive nature of racism. We provide alternative models for thinking about what makes people different. For instance we are different not only because of culture, but also because we have differing life positions, different dominating communication styles, different stroke patterns and needs and different working styles. Through these models we illustrate more effective ways to communicate with each other. We use TA models to suggest alternatives to racism and the ‘us versus them’ positions that are at times taken up between groups of people.
Communication skills
We all have a particular style of communicating. These can be identified as Parent, Adult or Child communication styles. Transactional Analysis teaches us how to move from Parent and/or Child styles of communication to Adult communication in the workplace.
Conflict Management
In TA terms, conflict arises when we embark on a ‘drama triangle’ with others. The roles on the drama triangle are that of the Persecutor, the Rescuer and the Victim. Through understanding the games people play and by identifying the dramas that unfold we find ways to address unlock the conflict. We then form a contract for changed behavior and attitudes towards one another.
