1 For the Road is a flexible and responsible transport solution for anyone who enjoys a drink and needs to get home safely in their own car. Whether it's a big night out in town with the boys/girls, a boozy client dinner or a chilled braai at friends', the minute you've had more than two drinks you are legally not fit to drive.
There's no need to cut the party short. In fact, having the peace of mind that you'll be driven home safely in your own car by one of our reliable drivers means you can really enjoy yourself.

Member Packages
Choose from a variety of different package options depending on how frequently you'd like to use the service. To determine which one is best suited visit our website
How it works
Once you have completed a membership form, and selected a package from the various options available, you can begin using 1 For the Road with immediate effect.
Function Service
1 For the Road also provides a function service, so that a team of drivers can be booked for client events, corporate functions or any event (eg.40th birthdays) that requires a number of people to be driven home safely in their own cars.
1 for Non-Members
While the membership route makes more sense as it works out to be more affordable, we do also accept first-time call-ins. Call 0861 622 642 and if we can accommodate you we will. Indemnity forms will need to be signed, and payment can be made in cash on the night, or EFT the following day.
Hours of operation
By pre-booking 1 For the Road you are essentially able to make use of a 24/7 transport service. On-the-night bookings, however, need to fall within the following operating hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 16h00 - 02h00
- Fridays: 15h00 - 02h00
- Public holidays & Sat/Sun: 15h00 - 02h00
