Based in Cape Town, Bulgaz was founded in 2002 by Nadine Ognianov, a graduate of Marketing and Sales, after discovering the huge potential of LPG and the lack of sustainable, environmentally friendly energy in South Africa. We are 100% black woman owned and operated, making Bulgaz the preferred BEE partner. Nadine is also the Chairperson of the LPGas BEE Forum , with its headquarters in Johannesburg.
We offer expert advice and facilitation of autogas with Doytchin Ognianov at the helm. Doytchin, a graduate in Micro Processing Techniques from the Pravetz College in Bulgaria is a qualified Autogas technician, with up to date knowledge of the latest technology available to furnish your fleet. He has worked with various government departments and consults major vehicle manufacturers on Autogas Systems.

What is LPG?
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is a mixture of petroleum and natural gases (Propane and Butane) that exist in a liquid state at ambient temperatures when under moderate pressures.
It is a by-product of the oil refining process and until recently, was burnt off as waste, but since the potential of this cleaner source of fuel has been realised, it has gained increasing support as an environmentally friendly automotive fuel, both in reducing global warming and improving air quality, particularly in towns and cities where vehicle emissions cause specific pollution problems.
