How it Works
A solar water heating system works on the following principles.
Black objects absorb heat.
Thermosiphon
The suns radiation hits the solar collector which is black and it absorbs the heat radiation from the rays. As the solar collector heats up it transfers the heat to the water in the collector. When water is heated up it expands and becomes lighter and naturally rises, this process is called Thermosiphon. The rising water then collects in the storage tank.
