Established in 1692 under the name "De Leuwen Jagt" - Dutch for "The Lion Hunt" - Seidelberg Wine Estate builds on over 300 years of tradition.
In 1997 Roland Seidel, who originates from Germany renamed the farm Seidelberg, his enhancement programme over the last 10 years has transformed this Historic Wine Estate into one of SA's finest wine tourism destinations.

The Stable - Offers a spacious room with king-size bed and a loft room with twin beds, generous bathroom and kitchen. (sleeps max. 4)
The Jongmans Huis - With the same comfort and stunning views offers a king size bed, a sleeper couch, bathroom and kitchenette. ( sleeps max. 4)
Enjoy personalized service such as a full range of organic products in your bathroom.
A breakfast basket is brought to your house each morning and guests can even have a private chef for meals, if desired.
The De Leuwen Jagt Restaurant at Seidelberg creates a perfect winelands memory in a unique setting. The restaurant offers traditional dishes, local and seasonal menus which includes ' Signature Dishes' reflecting history, stories and generations of cooking skills on the Estate. For lighter meals, please come and enjoy the Deli Counter under the Pergola offering Piadinas (filled Italien flat breads) and Platters with fresh Ciabatta bread.
On request we organise picnics under our oak trees, hikes in the adjacent Paarl Mountain Nature Reserve, interpretative labyrinth walks, cellar tours and wine tasting. Professional beauty treatments can be arranged to be administered in the comfort of your house. Children will also throughly enjoy our jungle gym and pet zoo.
