The all new moyo menu launched in September, 2015 contains some of the old moyo favourites, but has been updated  to include traditional South African dishes with a twist, offering a fresh take on African classics. Nikki Dumas, General Manager of moyo Kirstenbosch emphasises that even though the venue and menu has large appeal around the African experience for international tourists, loyal local support is what truly authenticates a restaurant so there is a strong appeal to the broader South African taste.

Up until 6pm daily moyo Kirstenbosch offer the ‘Life’ menu which has introduced café-style breakfasts and lunch with an African spin for quick on the go meals. A special menu for children extends the appeal to the entire family.

 “We have introduced some exciting offerings which have our fabulous locals returning again and again” says Nikki Dumas These offers include; the “WOZA” weekend buffets, pensioner Tuesdays, a range of kids activities to keep the little fingers busy and a stand out offer is the “Winter Lekker Lunches” where one can pick up a moyo burger or Fish Hoek fish and chips for just R75,00.

With its magnificent backdrop and spacious interior, moyo Kirstenbosch welcomes all guests as the ideal destination venue that exudes a  celebratory feel. Not forgetting that moyo scouts Africa for the best of the best in African entertainment which include colourful costumes, dramatic acts and dancers. To add to your delight guests are welcomed with the age-old tradition of African hand-washing and face painting ceremonies.
