Fabrinox invest in PaperTrail E-signatures software – a quantum leap that is faster, more convenient, and POPI compliant. International supplier of manufactured and fabricated metal solutions, Paarl based Fabrinox, have invested in PaperTrail software to improve efficiency and increase customer service.


Pico Technology launches updated PICOSCOPE 9300

Pico Technologies, represented locally by Comtest, has completed the update on the PicoScope 9300 Series. The PicoScope 9301 and PicoScope 9341 have received a bandwidth upgrade from 20 GHz to 25 GHz – highly significant because 25GHz bandwidth allows five harmonic capture of data rates up to 10Gbit/s. With serial data streams up to 10Gbits/s now commonplace, standards such as HDMI 2.0, PCIe Gen2 and Gen3, GBit Ethernet and USB 3.1 Gen1 and Gen2, to name but a few, all have transmission lines, cables, components, transmitters and receivers which all need pre-compliance testing and characterisation.


Transnet Port Terminals Richards Bay Dry Bulk steams ahead

Debmarine Namibia Diamond Mining vessels upgrade projects

Debmarine Namibia mines for diamonds off the southern coast of Namibia and currently owns, operates and maintains five marine diamond mining vessels. Debmarine Namibia contracts De Beers Marine South Africa (based in Cape Town) to provide specialist technical engineering project support services on the vessels during scheduled vessel maintenance dry docking in the Cape Town harbour.


Konecranes steps up service package

Three devices have been introduced into the South African market by global crane giant Konecranes, as part of the crane and hoist service package offerings to its customers. All three products have been developed by Konecranes and are implemented by specially trained technicians and can be used to monitor cranes and hoists of all makes.
