The Small Enterprise Development Agency will be launching a Rapid Incubator and Centre for Entrepreneurship (CFE) at False Bay TVET College, Westlake Campus, in Cape Town on 23 November 2016.
It is estimated that around 80% of start-ups in South Africa fail in the first year. Yet, small businesses are seen as a catalyst for the growth and development of the South African economy and employment opportunities. Hence, the importance to support these businesses cannot be understated.
Cape-based growth capital investor Knife Capital has reported encouraging results from its first round of entrepreneurial leadership initiatives undertaken by its ‘mentoring’ arm Grindstone.
