Our speciality is creating bespoke photographic solutions for multinational companies with global assets, government departments and local municipalities.
Apart from compiling material in countries across the globe, Ignus has built up an extensive client list which includes Anglo American, De Beers, Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Council, Lafarge, MTN, Nedbank, Nestle, Shell, Sprite, Telkom and Unilever as well as recording studios the likes of Gallo, Warner Brothers and Sony Music.
Ignus has worked on campaigns for some of South Africa’s top advertising agencies, he has won numerous Fuji Film Photographic Awards aswell as a Loerie Award (SA’s highest accolade in advertising and design) for an ad campaign he did for DDB SA. With and Eye for detail and composition, his solid technical background and award winning people skills Ignus has developed a style as diverse as it is original and visually compelling.
Ignus’s experience, people skills and technical expertise allow him to bring a ‘real feel’ to corporate projects while also enabling him to capture the day-to-day lives of ordinary people around the world with honesty and understanding.
A firm believer in skills development and training, Ignus is a regular lecturer and teaches photographic skills to young adults in Alexandra Township and at his alma-mater Tswane University of Technology. He is a hands on practical teacher and mentor who inspires his students with his vast technical knowledge.
Ignus has been a contributor to the City of Ekurhuleni’s photographic library since 2003. He has captured images for the Tourism department, SA Open Golf Championship, Marketing Departments and Business Development.
