River club Slug and Lettuce boasts a unique experience for its customers

The River Club Slug and Lettuce is an English based pub and restaurant franchise located in the oldest river valley in South Africa, Liesbeek River Parkway.

Leon Roux, general manager of the slug and lettuce proudly boasts that it offers a unique experience that nobody else in Cape Town can.

“What sets us apart from the rest is that we have an amazing setting as well as the golf range. We offer group bookings and bookings in conduction with golf. We do numerous functions such as birthdays, weddings or any general gathers; you name it, anything that your heart desires. We can make it happen for you.”

Le- Roux added that they offer ample free parking so that you do not have to park in the streets.

The Slug and Lettuce also seems to be the local of popular choice for many of South Africa’s leading sports men and women, which they have been privileged of welcoming by the jam-packed functions and events it hosts.

“We offer an exceptional set of dining. This is a combination of pub food as well as fine dining,” says Le Roux.

There is a wide range available on the menu from award winning burgers to lip-smacking breakfasts, as well as hand crafted pizzas.

For those feeling like a well-deserved drink, you will not be disappointed by the exceedingly well stocked bar, which includes locally brewed draughts and craft beers, along with a brilliant selection of single malts, brandies, cognacs, cocktails and wines.
