Cape Town Air Access, a division of Wesgro, welcomes the announcement that Ethiopian Airlines will be launching two non-stop flights between Cape Town and Addis Ababa, starting on the third of February 2016.

Tim Harris CEO of Wesgro says, “the deployment of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner on this non-stop routing is a game changer in that it offers greater capacity and more comfort on the route, and allows better access to the Cape for business travellers and tourists who will no longer have to route via Johannesburg or Gaborone.”

Addis is one of the world’s most important emerging airport hubs so this route gives the Cape important onward connectivity to regions like India, China and the Middle East, enhancing trade and investment opportunities from these regions.

“Cape Town Air Access  has a formal Joint Marketing Agreement with Ethiopian Airlines in place, and we are pleased that our strong relationship with the airline is bearing fruit.” Harris adds.
