Cape Business News caught up with some of the organisers of Cape Town’s upcoming events – for the first half of 2015.

Cape Town is quickly becoming the perfect spot to host events and showcases of all kinds, including eCommerce Africa Confex, Design Indaba Expo, Coatings for Africa (Johannesburg), and Industrial Showcase Cape.

eCommerce Africa Confex (3 – 4 February 2015)

Shannon MacKrill, joint Managing Director of Kinetic, said, “eCommerce is something in South Africa that has been growing at a rapid rate.” In the video, MacKrill goes on to explain how this event will further eCommerce in the country, and what visitors can expect.”

Design Indaba (26 February – 1 March 2015)

Kim Seeliger, Expo Manager at Interactive Africa, introduced the Design Indaba Expo as a showcase of locally-created design across all sectors. Seeliger elaborates on the benefit this expo brings to the business community.

Coatings for Africa (Johannesburg: 11 – 13 May 2015)

Andre Huddlestone, Content Producer for Hypenica, said, “Coatings for Africa is focused on the industry experts in the painting and coating industry. You don’t notice it – but if you think about it – coatings are everywhere.” He explains the necessity for a coatings showcase.

Cape Industrial Showcase (1 – 3 July 2015)

Johnny Malherbe, Owner of Impact Exhibitions, says that the showcase covers the entire industrial sector and is a combined show to cover all aspects of industry. Malherbe also explains the advantage of exhibitions for businesses.
