Industry renowned supplier of high-quality portable construction equipment and compact machines, Wacker Neuson, has been smart, steady and strategic when it comes to expanding its dealer network within South Africa as well as beyond its borders. The company recently reached a milestone by bringing into the fold its first dealer in Limpopo Province, All Power and Lawn Equipment. The dealer agreement will be cemented during a celebratory event in Q1 2019 at All Power’s Polokwane premises.

Established in 1998 as All Power and Lawn Equipment, the company’s primary focus is on the farming sector and offers a comprehensive product portfolio including chainsaws, water pumps, industrial lawnmowers, generators and firefighting equipment. All Power and Lawn Equipment is a privately owned company of long standing owner of multiple Talisman Franchise Operations in the Limpopo region, Shawn Martins. When Shawn opened Talisman Hire Polokwane in 2002, it afforded sister company All Power the opportunity to expand its offerings beyond the farming and forestry sectors to include construction, building and cleaning. The new 1 250m2 flagship store in Polokwane, supported by a team of eighteen employees, ideally positions All Power to expand its supply-footprint in the Limpopo province.

Wacker Neuson’s relationship with Shawn opened business doors to All Power. “All Power possesses a strong network in the territory with an expansive reach and a primary focus in an industry which complements our brand,” comments Dennis Vietze, Wacker Neuson Sub-Saharan Africa Managing Director. “The company’s wealth of knowledge and experience in the region convinced us that we have found our dealer in Limpopo. The partnership will see Wacker Neuson expanding its footprint even further into the South African market and particularly in the Limpopo region, providing the ideal opportunity to increase volumes and bring the Wacker Neuson product suite closer to end-users in the region.

“We aim to grow All Power’s customer base and the business through the recently introduced Wacker Neuson product range,” notes Shawn. All Power’s current Wacker Neuson range comprises generators and pumps as well as concrete, compaction, and lighting equipment. According to Shawn, All Power anticipates Wacker Neuson compaction equipment to initially be the most popular amongst customers. “Going forward we are eager to expand the range to include Wacker Neuson’s full range of excavators and materials handling equipment. Although Wacker Neuson is still new to All Power, our customers are well aware of the brand with its global reputation for high quality and reliability. We are confident that we will further grow this iconic brand together.”

As all service, spares, aftermarket and warranties on Wacker Neuson products will be exclusively dealt with through All Power operations, training plays a pivotal role. “Our six technicians who have been with the company for over ten years as well as our sales team consisting of two external and three internal sales representatives are being brought up to date with Wacker Neuson’s training suite,” adds Shawn. “We will also attend refresher training workshops at Wacker Neuson’s premises in Johannesburg.”

“The current difficult economic environment we find ourselves in presents numerous challenges of which price is one. Getting our staff trained and confident in the product will take time and effort. But despite these challenges, I am confident that once we as a company are fully trained and up to speed, there will be many new opportunities. In time we plan to employ more qualified staff to service the area and to ensure that our customers enjoy excellent service.  We will also continue to invest more time in the brand to make Wacker Neuson and All Power the leaders in the market,” concludes Shawn.
