Angola Trade and Investment Forum to be held in Cape Town

Angola is sub-Saharan Africa’s third largest economy and one of the world’s fastest growing markets, with forecasts for strong economic growth in the coming years. With several structural reforms undertaken by the Angolan government, the country is set to diversify its economy from oil and gas into other sectors.

On the 13th of November 2015, the Angola Trade and Investment Forum (ATIF) at the River Club, in Cape Town, South Africa will provide an opportunity for Angola to showcase itself as an attractive and viable FDI destination to prospective investors. ATIF offers a platform to identify investment opportunities and allow attendees seek strategic partnerships and alliances as well as project financing in the high growth Angolan market. It is aimed at attracting investors and advisors from financial institutions to invest into companies or projects in Angola.

The forum will also provide a unique opportunity to learn about the new Private Investment Law of Angola which came into effect on 11 August 2015.
ATIF will promote business and investment cooperation in key industry sectors including: Energy, Agribusiness, Tourism, Real Estate and Property Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, ICT and Financial Services.
